MJ Arsenal Alpine Ridge 9cm Glass Chillum

The MJ Arsenal Alpine Ridge Chillum takes the simple straight-pipe format and gives it the full Alpine treatment, combining clear borosilicate glass with milled black walnut detailing.

At just 8.6cm long, Ridge is designed as a compact chillum or one-hitter-style hand pipe. There is no water chamber, removable bowl or separate downstem to worry about — just a straightforward dry pipe with a small bowl, direct airflow and an integrated carb.

Its slim proportions make it one of the smallest pieces in the Alpine range, while the walnut detailing gives it far more character than a basic clear glass one hitter.

A Proper Chillum-Style Hand Pipe

The Ridge is best described as a glass chillum or one-hitter-style pipe. Unlike a spoon pipe, its body is much straighter and slimmer, keeping the bowl and mouthpiece in a compact linear format.

That makes it particularly useful if you prefer a smaller dry pipe without the extra size of a spoon, bubbler or bong.

There is no water filtration involved. The Ridge is designed for direct dry use, which keeps the setup quick and uncomplicated.

Borosilicate Glass & Milled Black Walnut

The main body is constructed from 100% borosilicate glass, while milled black walnut is incorporated into the Alpine design.

The combination works particularly well on the Ridge because the walnut breaks up the otherwise minimal clear-glass shape and gives the pipe a warmer, more tactile finish.

How to Use

• Make sure the bowl and airway are clean and dry.
• Add a small amount of legal dry herb to the bowl without packing it too tightly.
• Cover the left-side carb with your fingertip.
• Apply a suitable flame while drawing gently through the mouthpiece.
• Release the carb to increase airflow through the pipe.
• Allow the glass around the bowl to cool before cleaning or handling immediately after use.

Cleaning & Care

MJ Arsenal recommends treating the glass and walnut sections differently when cleaning the Ridge.

• Allow the chillum to cool completely before cleaning.
• Clean the borosilicate glass using isopropyl alcohol when a deeper clean is required.
• Clean the other sections with a microfiber cloth and warm, soapy water.
• Avoid soaking the walnut detailing in alcohol.
• Rinse cleaned parts thoroughly where appropriate.
• Allow all sections to dry completely before reassembly and use.
• Take care around sinks, taps and other hard surfaces while cleaning.
