Google Pixel 10 128GB Refurbished Privacy Phone with GrapheneOS

The Google Pixel 10 128GB Privacy Phone combines powerful modern Pixel hardware with GrapheneOS, a privacy and security-focused Android operating system built specifically for supported Google Pixel devices.

Your handset arrives securely prepared and ready to use. GrapheneOS is installed and configured before dispatch, the applicable system and security updates are completed, WhatsApp is already installed and an alternative app store is provided for downloading many popular Android apps without needing to connect your personal Google account.

You also receive a brand-new O2 mobile number with £10 credit already topped up. You can use the supplied number as a fresh mobile number or simply use your own compatible SIM and existing number instead.

The result is a straightforward privacy-focused smartphone that is ready for you to personalise without having to spend hours getting the basic software and services in place.

Professionally Prepared After You Order

Please allow 7 days for your handset to be prepared before dispatch.

We prepare each privacy phone after the order is placed rather than configuring large quantities of devices months in advance.

This allows us to use the latest stable GrapheneOS release available when your phone is prepared and apply the relevant system and security updates before the handset leaves us.

Starting with current software means your phone should require fewer initial updates when it arrives and gives you a cleaner starting point for keeping GrapheneOS updated in the future.

The 7-day preparation period is before dispatch and is separate from the delivery time of your chosen courier service.

Prepared Before Dispatch

• Latest stable GrapheneOS release available at the time of preparation
• Applicable GrapheneOS security and system updates installed
• GrapheneOS securely configured and ready to use
• Alternative Android app store already installed
• WhatsApp already installed
• Brand-new O2 mobile number supplied
• £10 credit already added to the supplied O2 number
• Final handset checks carried out before dispatch

Download Apps Without Using Your Personal Google Account

The phone comes with an alternative Android app store already installed. This allows you to download many popular free Android apps without signing into the Google Play Store using your personal Google or Gmail account.

For example, compatible apps such as Instagram, Telegram, Signal, Spotify and many other everyday Android applications can be downloaded without linking your personal Google identity to the phone.

This is particularly useful if one of the reasons you are choosing a GrapheneOS phone is to reduce the number of services connected to your personal information.

You are still free to use Google services if you want them. GrapheneOS supports sandboxed Google Play for applications that require Google Play services, but using your personal Google account is your choice rather than something required simply to start using the handset.

Some paid apps, purchases, subscriptions, licence checks or services specifically tied to a Google account may still require a Google account. App availability and compatibility can also vary.

WhatsApp Already Installed

WhatsApp is already installed on your Pixel 10 before dispatch.

When the phone arrives, simply open WhatsApp and register the mobile number you want to use.

You can choose either:

• The new O2 number supplied with the handset
• Your own existing mobile number

This means you can start fresh with a new number or continue using your current WhatsApp number.

Brand-New O2 Number with £10 Credit

Every phone comes with a new O2 mobile number with £10 credit already topped up.

The supplied number is there for customers who want to begin using the handset with a fresh mobile identity straight away.

You are not required to use it. If you prefer your existing number, simply use your own compatible SIM instead.

Your Two Options

• Start fresh: use the new O2 number supplied with £10 credit.
• Keep your existing number: use your own compatible SIM and mobile number.

Why Choose GrapheneOS?

GrapheneOS is designed to provide stronger privacy and security controls than a conventional Android installation while still allowing you to use the phone as an everyday smartphone.

One of its biggest advantages is the amount of control it gives you over individual applications.

You can manage whether an app is allowed to access areas including:

• Camera
• Microphone
• Location
• Contacts
• Files
• Nearby devices
• Notifications
• Network connectivity

Apps are kept inside individual sandboxes, helping to isolate them from other applications and sensitive areas of the phone.

GrapheneOS also includes additional security features such as automatic reboot, PIN scrambling, enhanced USB-C controls, advanced device-lock options, separate user profiles and an optional duress credential.

Google Pixel 10 Hardware

• Google Pixel 10 smartphone
• 128GB internal storage
• 12GB RAM
• Google Tensor G5 processor
• Titan M2 security coprocessor
• Modern Pixel hardware security
• Officially supported GrapheneOS device
• Refurbished handset

Your First Security Steps

Your handset already arrives prepared with GrapheneOS. When you receive it, we recommend spending a few minutes personalising the security settings to suit your own requirements.

1. Set Your Own Strong PIN or Password

Go to:

Settings > Security & privacy > Device unlock > Screen lock

Create a PIN or password that only you know.

Avoid obvious combinations such as birthdays, repeated numbers or simple sequences. Your screen-lock credential is one of the most important protections on the handset.

2. Enable PIN Scrambling

GrapheneOS can randomise the position of numbers on the PIN keypad.

This can make it more difficult for somebody watching you to identify your PIN from the position of your finger movements.

Search for PIN scrambling within the phone's Settings if you want to enable it.

3. Keep Automatic Reboot Enabled

GrapheneOS provides an automatic reboot feature that can restart the phone after it has remained locked for a chosen period.

After the handset restarts, the primary PIN or password must be entered before normal access to encrypted user data is restored.

Check:

Settings > Security & privacy > Exploit protection > Auto reboot

4. Keep USB-C Protection Enabled

GrapheneOS can restrict USB data connections while the handset is locked while still allowing charging.

Check:

Settings > Security & privacy > Exploit protection > USB-C port

Unless you specifically need to change it, keeping the locked-device USB protection enabled reduces the attack surface available through the physical USB-C port.

5. Review Permissions for Every App

Check which applications have access to your camera, microphone, location, contacts and files.

Only give an application access to information it genuinely needs.

Go to:

Settings > Security & privacy > Privacy > Permission manager

6. Register WhatsApp and Review Its Privacy Settings

WhatsApp is already installed. Register either the supplied O2 number or your own number and then review WhatsApp's privacy settings.

Useful settings to check include:

• Two-step verification
• Profile photo visibility
• Last seen and online status
• Read receipts
• Group privacy
• Disappearing messages
• Camera and microphone permissions

7. Keep GrapheneOS Updated

Your handset is prepared with the latest stable release and applicable updates available when we configure it, but GrapheneOS will continue receiving updates after you purchase the phone.

Install future system and security updates promptly when they become available.

Check:

Settings > System > System update

8. Only Install Apps You Actually Need

Every additional application is another piece of software running on your phone and potentially requesting access to information.

Install the apps you need and review their permissions rather than filling the handset with applications you rarely use.

GrapheneOS also allows network access to be controlled for individual apps, giving you another useful privacy control.

9. Decide Whether You Want Fingerprint Unlock

Fingerprint unlocking is convenient, but your PIN or password remains your primary device credential.

If security matters more to you than convenience, you can choose to rely on your PIN or password instead.

10. Advanced Duress Protection

GrapheneOS provides an optional duress PIN or password for higher-risk situations.

A configured duress credential can trigger an irreversible wipe of the handset and installed eSIMs.

This is an advanced feature and should only be enabled if you fully understand how it works. Triggering the wipe cannot be undone.

11. Keep Your Unlock Details Private

Never share your screen-lock PIN or password or store it alongside the handset.

Even strong device security becomes less useful if another person already knows your unlock credentials.

12. Lock Your Phone When You Put It Down

Make a habit of locking the handset whenever you are not actively using it.

Many of GrapheneOS's protections against physical access are specifically designed to protect the device while it is locked.
