If subtle isn't really your thing, you've found the right bottle.

Abstrax Cloudburst Flavoured Terpene Blends are built around one simple idea: maximum flavour intensity. Rather than trying to recreate traditional cultivar profiles, Cloudburst goes straight for big, bold fruit, candy, tropical and dessert-inspired flavours.

Abstrax develops its Cloudburst flavours in-house. The team analyses the characteristics that make popular fruit, sweet and dessert flavours so recognisable, builds each profile from the ground up, then turns up its best attributes to create the signature Cloudburst intensity.

The result is flavour that isn't exactly shy. Banana Candy? Banana has entered the building. Grape Galaxy? Your taste buds may require a telescope. Watermelon Splash? You get the idea.

We've picked 15 Abstrax Cloudburst flavours covering everything from juicy mango, pineapple and guava to blue raspberry, grape, strawberry and creamy peach. So whether your flavour cupboard needs something tropical, tangy, sweet or gloriously ridiculous, Cloudburst has probably got an answer.

Cloudburst Terpene Mixing & Dosing Guide

Cloudburst is designed to be seriously flavour-forward, so don't treat it like squash and keep pouring until the colour looks right. These are highly concentrated blends. Measure carefully, mix thoroughly and start with a small test batch.

Cloudburst Maximum

• Abstrax recommends a maximum Cloudburst concentration of 6–7% in vape, cannabis and hemp formulations
• Because Cloudburst is designed for particularly intense flavour, more isn't necessarily better
• Start below the maximum and adjust gradually to suit the finished formulation

Vape Cartridges

• General Abstrax recommended starting point: 5% terpenes
• Start with a 1 g test volume and work up from there
• Example: 9 g distillate + 0.5 g terpenes + 0.5 g TEC Temper (Liquidizer)
• Total finished mixture: 10 g
• For Cloudburst, Abstrax recommends not exceeding 6–7%

Concentrates

• Abstrax states a starting point of 0.5 g by weight
• The manufacturer's current example states: 2 g of product, add 1 g
• This wording is reproduced from Abstrax's current mixing guidance – always check the latest manufacturer instructions before use

Tinctures

• General Abstrax starting point: 0.1%
• Example: For a 30 ml tincture, add 0.03 ml of terpene blend
• Mix thoroughly and adjust gradually as required

Edibles

• General Abstrax starting point: approximately 0.25% by weight, depending on the edible
• Example: For a 14 g hard candy batch, add 0.035 g of terpene blend
• Start low and adjust gradually according to the finished product

Beverages

• General Abstrax starting point: 0.04% by weight
• Abstrax gives an example of 1–2 drops per bottle when using a suitable water-soluble terpene blend
• Only use a formulation specifically suitable for beverage applications

Topicals

• General Abstrax starting point: 1% terpenes by weight
• Example: For 28 g of lotion, add 0.28 g of terpenes

Important Mixing Information: Cloudburst blends are highly concentrated and must be appropriately diluted before use. Abstrax advises against directly ingesting, inhaling or allowing undiluted product to contact bare skin. The figures above are manufacturer starting points rather than fixed recipes. Always check the latest Abstrax guidance and confirm that your chosen flavour is suitable for the intended application.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Abstrax Cloudburst Series?

Cloudburst is Abstrax's maximum-intensity flavoured terpene range. Instead of concentrating on traditional cultivar profiles, the series focuses on bold fruit, candy, tropical, sweet and dessert-inspired flavours.

What makes Cloudburst different from ordinary flavoured terpenes?

Abstrax develops each flavour in-house. Once the base flavour profile has been established, its strongest characteristics are deliberately intensified to create the bold flavour associated with the Cloudburst range.

How is Cloudburst different from Abstrax Native Series?

They're designed for different jobs. Native Series concentrates on recreating detailed cultivar-inspired aromatic profiles, while Cloudburst is all about maximum flavour intensity with fruit, candy, tropical and dessert-style flavours.

Which Cloudburst flavours does Olivastu stock?

We're stocking Banana Candy, Blue Raspberry Rush, Electric Green Apple, Fruit Punch, Grape Galaxy, Mango Sunrise, Orange Tsunami, Peaches and Creme, Pineapple Pop, Pink Guava, Raspberry Crave, Summer Lemon, Sweet Strawberry, Tigers Blood and Watermelon Splash.

How much Cloudburst should I use?

Abstrax's general terpene mixing guide recommends starting around 5% for vape cartridge formulations. For the particularly intense Cloudburst Series, Abstrax recommends a maximum concentration of 6–7% in vape, cannabis and hemp formulations. Start low and adjust gradually rather than automatically aiming for the maximum.

What is TEC Temper (Liquidizer)?

TEC Temper is Abstrax's liquidizer designed to help adjust viscosity in suitable formulations without simply increasing the amount of terpene blend.

Can Cloudburst be used undiluted?

No. Abstrax describes Cloudburst as a highly concentrated product intended to be appropriately diluted before use. Do not directly ingest or inhale the undiluted blend or allow it to contact bare skin.

How should I store Cloudburst Terpenes?

Abstrax recommends keeping Cloudburst blends unopened until required and storing them in a cool, dark place. The manufacturer specifically advises against refrigerating or freezing Cloudburst blends. Once opened, minimise unnecessary exposure to air and light to help preserve the aroma.

How much is in each bottle?

The manufacturer size is 5 g, which is approximately 5.8 ml depending on the density of the blend.
